I hope that you have had a wonderful summer, whether you stayed in Hong Kong and joined in our sensational summer camps or visited loved ones and families’ overseas.
Our new school year will officially start next week, along with our 23rd anniversary of delivering children and their families in Hong Kong the very best possible start in early year’s education.
We are privileged to be part of your child’s learning journey and thank you for putting your trust in myself and my team.

Teaching Team update
Deputy Manager Post. We are delighted that Hannah will be taking on a senior role as deputy manager. She will continue to teach and supervise Letterland, along with taking on a more active role supervising all school settings in the afternoons. A well-deserved promotion for Hannah who has been committed to the schools for the last nine years
Welcome Lara and Rhys are the new teaching team for Baby Buddies Sheung Wan, we are looking forward to all of the exciting activities they will be delivering amongst our school community. Lara will be our new school supervisor and teaching the Baby Buddies classes, Rhys will be teaching our Nursery classes. Please do pop in to meet Lara and Rhys at any time.
New Phonics Programme
We have updated our phonics programme and will be offering classes on Saturday mornings and incorporating further activities to our week day classes. Both of our phonic programmes are recognised as International language and literacy courses with outstanding results.
Teacher Sophia will be taking over as our Saturday morning phonics coordinator. She will be keeping you up to date with weekly news letters, teaching plans and new individual profiles.
Spanish Classes
We will start our Spanish playgroup classes as from September 2019, Baby Buddies Causeway Bay on a Monday and Baby Buddies Sheung Wan every Wednesday. Lara will be leading the classes, which will be delivered in true Baby Buddies fashion! We may consider adding Spanish to our Kindergarten and Nursery classes, please do contact me should you be interested.
Parent and teacher Communication
We pride ourselves on our parent communication, please do remember to log onto the school portal weekly, we always support this by emailing weekly news letters and teaching plans. For the new school year we have new communication books and profiles for those children attending Kindergarten and Nursery classes. We will also be inviting parents to join us termly for celebrations of learning, evening drinks, classroom assistance works shops and lots more. It means the world to your child to see you interested and engaged in their learning so please do take time out of your busy schedule to share your child’s learning journey with us. Our new school calendar will be available on line by Wednesday 7th August. Our doors are always open and please do let me know at any time if you would like to have a chat with your class teacher.
Full Day classes
We will be offering extended and full day classes at our Kindergarten as from August, if you would like further information about these classes please do contact me.
