Baby Buddies International Playgroup was founded in January 1998 by Alison Pope-Euler. Being the very first purpose-operated playgroup in Hong Kong. Baby Buddies has two campuses located in Sheung Wan and Causeway Bay, along with Alison’s Letterland INT KG also located in Causeway Bay. Adding Baby Buddies Discovery Bay as its fourth campus.
Alison is a qualified N.N.E.B (1988) and has a wealth of experience in early childhood education gained in the UK and Hong Kong. Alison’s dream was to create a fun, caring and educational environment for children and their families in Hong Kong. She creates a community feeling within the schools for all her students to remember the beginning of their learning journey as a fun and happy experience.
Alison’s philosophy is that each child and their family will leave our classes with a smile.
Baby Buddies offers classes for babies from 5 months old to 3 years old, offering a child -centred approach to learning. Our classes cover all seven areas of learning for the babies; promoting prime and specific areas of learning along with characteristics of effective learning.
The babies will take part in lots of playtimes, singing and dancing, story time along with the highlight of all our classes ‘Messy Play Time!’.
Our goal is to have your Baby playing and exploring; being an active learner, and creating and thinking critically.
Our vision – we believe that every child is a competent learner from birth, and every child should be treated with respect and as an individual.
Our Mission is to imbue each one of our students with a lifetime love of learning and to encourage them to become confident, responsible, and effective contributors to society.
